3D / OBJECT / BOX FRAMING / UNUSUAL OBJECTS

This term is applied to any item to be framed that isn’t flat. E.g. a bunch of dried flowers, a toy or perhaps a card that has 3D parts to it, an item of crockery, sculpture etc. Either way, the type of framing will depend on how deep the frame needs to be to house the object.

Costs will depend on the work involved, the type and size of the frame required plus any other materials or services needing to used as part of the job. We would need to see the item to give an accurate or estimated price.

Unusual Object Framing

You can frame almost anything, it’s just a case of us working out how. If it’s something very unusual, we will usually “take it in” for closer examination and you will need to allow time for us to assess the best way of being able to display it and to be able to work out how much this might cost. We will then tell you how we propose to do it and how much it is likely to cost before we go ahead with the job. For example, we’ve framed stuffed spiders & even a pair of Angel Wings from a Graham Norton TV show … these are just a couple that spring to mind!

By their very nature unusual items will need to be seen in order to get an accurate cost.

Costs for these will depend on the size and type of frame required plus any other services required as part of the job. We can give rough estimates via e-mailor phone and an exact price if you bring the piece into the shop.
