MOUNT CUTTING

We cut a variety of mounts here on-site as part of the normal service of Framing including double mounts, triple mounts, multi-aperture, ovals, rounds & slips. A wide choice of colours are available to suit all kinds of pictures. Mounting can be done as part of the Framing process or we can supply mounts on their own and at any size.

It is also useful if you have already brought a frame that’s too big for your image and you need a mount to go inside this frame.

To give you an idea of costs a standard single mount with backing board up to the size of: 12” x 10” will cost around £4.50, up to the size 20” x 16” £6.75, up to the size of 30” x 20” around £9.75.

Double mounts will as a rule will be double the price as they are 2 mounts.

It will cost more for ovals, rounds and specials such as linen board or black core mounts.

Costs for these will depend on the size and type of frame required plus any other services required as part of the job. We can give rough estimates via e-mailor phone and an exact price if you bring the piece into the shop.
